How Just Naughty Singles works

What's free, what isn't, who sees your profile and how to leave, before you hand over a card.

In short

Just Naughty Singles is a casual dating site for adults 18+, run by Ambervine Inc. Joining, making a profile, browsing and receiving interest are free. Reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership that renews until you cancel. Profiles are shared with partner sites in the same network, and the checkout shows the billing name used on card statements.

Four steps, and the first three cost nothing

You can sign up, build a profile and look around without paying; the paywall starts when you want to read or answer messages.

  1. Sign up. An email address, a password and your date of birth. You must be 18 or over, or 21 if you live in Alabama, Mississippi, Nebraska or Wyoming.
  2. Make a profile. Add photos and say plainly what you're after. Photos are reviewed before they appear.
  3. Browse. Look around and receive interest from other members, free.
  4. Message. Reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership. The prices page shows what each plan costs before you commit.

That last step is where every casual site makes its money, ours included, so it's the one to think about. If someone "messages" you within minutes of joining, read our guide to spotting a fake profile before you pay to reply.

Free account or membership: what each one gets you

A free account lets you take part and judge whether there's anyone worth talking to; a membership opens up conversations and a few extra views.

Item Free account Paid membership
Join, profile, photos Yes Yes
Browse profiles Yes Yes
Receive interest Yes Yes
Read and reply to messages No Yes
Read receipts and who viewed you No Yes
View photos in full No Yes

Free accounts show adverts in the members area.

Optional extras, such as profile boosts and an ID badge, are sold separately on top of either. None of them is needed to message anyone.

Your profile isn't only on this site

Just Naughty Singles shares one member database with partner sites in the same network. Members who joined through those sites can see your profile and message you, and you can message them. Each profile shows which site it came from.

That gives you more people to talk to. It also means your photos and words travel further than one website, so choose them with that in mind. A face-free main photo and no workplace details are sensible defaults on any casual site.

What gets checked, and what doesn't

Photos are reviewed and some members prove their identity, but nobody checks what members say about themselves.

Checked Not checked
Every photo uploaded is reviewed What members write about themselves: age, location, status, intentions
Sign-ups through a VPN, and flagged accounts, must pass an ID and selfie check run by LEM Verify Most members are never asked for ID
Members can choose to verify for an optional paid ID badge

So a member with the ID badge has proved who they are. Anyone without one may be completely genuine, but you're taking their profile on trust, the same as on any other site. Our safety page explains how to stay sensible about that.

Paying, renewing and the name on your statement

Memberships renew automatically at the end of each period until you switch renewal off in Settings > Billing. If you take a trial, it rolls into a full membership unless you cancel before it ends. Optional extras, such as profile boosts and priority messages, are charged separately.

Your card statement may not say Just Naughty Singles: the checkout shows the billing name before you pay, so note it down. If you see a charge you don't recognise, check whether you, or someone with your card, joined here before you dispute it. The billing traps guide covers what to watch for on any site.

Who it suits, and who it doesn't

Just Naughty Singles suits adults who want something casual, are happy to pay for messaging once they've seen who's around, and are comfortable with a profile shared across a network of sites.

It isn't the right fit if you want every member identity-checked, if you'd rather nobody beyond one website saw your profile, or if you want free messaging. Better to know that now than after you've paid.

Leaving

  • Stop paying: Settings > Billing, and cancel.
  • Leave for good: click your avatar, then Settings > Delete Account.

Cancel first, then delete. Questions about your account or a charge go to the members help centre, and log-in help covers getting back in if you're locked out. Everything above is also on one page in key facts.

Questions people ask

Is Just Naughty Singles free?

Joining, building a profile and browsing are free, and so is receiving interest from other members. Reading and replying to messages are not: for those you need a paid membership, which renews automatically until you cancel it in Settings > Billing. The prices page shows what each plan costs before you pay.

Can members of other sites see my profile?

Yes. Just Naughty Singles shares one member database with partner sites in the same network, so members who joined through those sites can see your profile and message you. Each profile shows which site it came from. Choose photos and words you're comfortable having seen beyond this one website.

Do I need to show ID?

Usually not. An ID and selfie check, run by LEM Verify, is required if you sign up through a VPN or your account is flagged. Otherwise it's optional: members can choose to take it for a paid ID badge. Nobody checks what members write about themselves either way.

Which countries can I join from?

The members area accepts sign-ups from the UK (including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Portugal and South Africa. You must be 18 or over, or 21 if you live in Alabama, Mississippi, Nebraska or Wyoming.
